Role Overview:

Are you a retired educator with a passion for wildlife conservation? Elephanatics is looking for experienced teachers to help us deliver our high-quality education programs to local classrooms. You will use our prepared "Education Kits" and digital resources to inspire students about elephant conservation, biodiversity, and global citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging presentations to elementary and intermediate students (Grades 4-12).

  • Our programs are designed to align with the Canadian STSE (Science, Technology, Society, and the Environment) framework, helping students bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world conservation advocacy."

  • Represent Elephanatics at local school events or nature fairs.

Qualifications:

  • BC Teaching Certification (Active or Retired).

  • Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to travel to schools within the Greater Vancouver area.

  • A love for animals and a commitment to global conservation.
